Asian MTB Championships 2019-Beirut
Two Silver medals for Iran at the final day
Hossein ZANJANIAN (Men's DHI) and Ali ZOHRABZADEH (U23 XCO) won two silver medals for Iran at the final day of the Asian MTB Championships 2019 in Beirut, Lebanon.
ME DHI:
Hossein ZANJANIAN who has several 4th places in Asian Championships records finally won a silver medal with the time of 0:03:50.862 and the gap of 0:01.141 with the Gold winner, Methasit BOONSANE from Thailand. Sheng Shan CHIANG finished third with the time of 0:03:51.843. There were 19 riders at the start line among whom another Iranian rider, Amin NAJAFI BAZI finished 5th.
MU XCO:
Temirlan MUKHAMEDIYANOV (KAZ) won U23 XCO with the time of 1:42:14 while ZANJANIAN finished at 1:44:09. The rest of the riders (14) were all lapped by these two.
ME XCO:
1- MA (China)
2- YAMAMOTO (Japan)
3- LYU (China)
Iranian riders, Farzad Khodayari and Faraz SHOKRI respectively finished at 5th and 8th places.
WE XCO:
Faranak PARTOAZAR who had the highest chances for winning a title in the Asian MTB Championships 2019, finished 5th while being caught by a group of 4 Chinese riders.

WU XCO:
Mahsa MAVIZ, Iranian rider finished 5th while top 3 riders were from Japan (1st and 3rd) and Thailand (second).
MJ XCO:

Ali LABIB SHOTORBAN from Iran finished 10th among 22 riders.
Iranian National Team finished it work in Lebanon with two Silvers and won Bronze.
