Tashkent hosts whole Asia in April 2019
Iranian National Team members and officials in Tashkent
Asian Road Cycling Championships will start in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in a few days. Beside that, Road ENC Course, ACC Congress and UCI Anti-Doping Seminar are planned to gather the national federations' officials.
The following events are scheduled to be held in Tashkent:
1-Road Elite National Commissaire Course (ENC) - 18th to 21st April 2019: This event is planned to be held by Uzbekistan Cycling Federation, supported by Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC). Mr. Greg GRIFFITHS from Australia is appointed by the UCI as lead instructor for the course. One Iranian participant will be in this event.
2-Road Asian Cycling Championships (Men and Women) in Elite, U23, Junior, Para-cycling and Masters category starting from 23rd until 28th April 2019. Iranian national team is participating with riders in Men and Women Elite, Men Under 23, Men Junior, Para-cycling and Masters category.
3-UCI Anti-Doping Seminar (25th April 2019): Aiming for providing the national federations an opportunity to meet representatives of the Legal UCI Anti-Doping services and also learn about the latest action taken by the UCI in the fight against Doping and Technological fraud.
4-UCI Congress (26th April 2019) in which each Asian National Federation could attend with maximum 3 representatives. Iran will also be present there with Mr. Ghamari (President) and Mr. Kasirian (International Relations). It is worth mentioning that Mr. Khosro Ghamari will be awarded his ACC Merit in this meeting.
